As  for bullying?

Any type of ill mannered behaviour or ani social verbal/physical behaviour will not be tolerated. We want our students to feel safe when coming to school and if they don't we will take it to the highest measures to resolve the issue that is troubling said student. This includes inside and outside the premisis of the Academy.

Established in 1986 by the algamation of Henry Thorntan Grammer school and Hydeburn school, its 40% selective method is based around aptitude towards art and general ability. Believe it or not it was the first Arts college in the United Kingdom and in 2008 was rated as grade 1 outstanding the highest possible designation by an Ofsted inspection.

As for the exams?

When it comes to examinations we want all our students to succeed. However this can not be achieved without cooperation. Our dedicated staff will provide the service they are payed to as long as your child makes the commitment to attend. This of course includes lessons, extra sessions (for example a week before exams), assembly's, registrations etc. We want the best for our students and have no doubts that they will achieve the best they can. Understandably it is a two way street and so we need cooperation from both sides.
